Hey monstera enthusiasts. I just got a new Thai constellation yesterday from Home Depot, itās my first ever monstera. It was shipped from out of state and was in a shipping box for about 5 days. Is there anything special I need to do for it to help it acclimate? I have it about a foot away from a vertical standing grow light at the moment and Iām wondering if thatās too much light too soon out of a dark box. Iām also wondering if I should repot right away or not. Itās currently in a medium I donāt recognize and Iām always wary of the soil at big box stores especially since theyāre notorious for overwatering. I generally like to pot my aroids in Grow Queenās Craft Aroid Mix because Iāve had a lot of success with it for philodendrons as well as non-aroid plants that require a breathable, chunky mix. The other reason Iām questioning repotting right away is because the back of the plant is pushed right up to the edge of the pot with no support. They did include a bamboo stick thatās pushed into the soil, but the placement doesnāt really make sense to me, itās not really in a position where itās doing anything to support the plant right now. All advice and care tips are welcome!
