Ive started noticing color changes on my baby deliciosa in the past few weeks. Does anyone know what this might be? Should I be concerned? The plant has grown a ton, is actively putting out new leaves, no pests, no yellowing and healthy roots. The color change is on both sides of the leaves, it just is harder to see on the top side. Only maybe half of them have the dark patches. Ive never seen this before and I have no idea what I’m doing wrong here or what this even is. Pictures are from various stops on my way out to my garage to inspect it away from my cats. Usually lives in my grow room under lights

Looks like root rot I’d check the roots first and report back. Leaves can get over saturated with water when they aren’t getting proper drainage.

I thought that at first too but i just repotted it right before taking the pictures. The plant was honestly probably a bit drier than it usually gets before a watering and the roots are all visibly healthy and dont have any kind of bad smell. I use a meter to check the moisture levels in between watering to make sure it has adequate drainage and the pot size is right for a few weeks after I size up pots. I’ve never had an issue with that so idk

I’m not sure it’s definitely an overwatering issue that you may have solved inadvertently from repotting it? Is the soil wet currently on the bottom ? If it is follow plantas recommend steps for an overwatering issue. If it’s not then just make sure to let it dry out a little more between watering and it should sort itself out

I just repotted it and watered an hour ago. Its been atleast 2 weeks since the last watering and the mix i use is pretty chunky and usually dries consistently. The nursery pot was getting kind of crowded. but i use clear pots and try to just pot them up more often during the winter so they dont get swampy or mad about too much of a change in size. I might’ve waited too long this time though, idk. Im not really sure what else to do to make sure its not getting over watered 🙃 Would the leaves retain enough water to do that for several weeks even if the soil had dried out between waterings? Im confused about why that would cause color changes on only some of the leaves too? I didnt take the best pictures but it was only maybe half of them that had those markings.
