Can anyone help diagnose Roger, please? He’s on loan to me from my mum until he’s better but I’m not totally sure what his problem was. Maybe overwatering, although she says not (she’s generally good with houseplants)? Dr Planta thought so too. I’ve just given him a slightly larger pot as his was quite shallow and his roots were very snug in there — they all looked healthy and not mushy or anything. Does anyone have any recommendations?

    I agree too much sunlight. It needs indirect light and you should spritz the leaves lightly with water. Also, did you use a bit of perlite mixed in your soil? If not, that may help too, as monstera like a dense soil.

    east or west window — i don’t ever recommend misting, but high humidity is a must for these. monstera do not like dense soil — they want something chunky that allows for good oxygen flow.
