I’ve had this monstera adansonii for a little over a year now and until I repotted it 2 1/2 months ago it was thriving. I repotted into a pot with a drainage hole, went up 2 inches in pot size, and kept the plant in the same environment it was pre-transplant. A few days after transplanting, I noticed drooping in the leaves and chalked it up to transplant shock, deciding to ride out the wave and continue watering and fertilizing as normal. Over two months later and the plant is on deaths door step with no signs of improvement. I’m thinking of repotting again with perlite and adding superthrive (I didn’t last time) but have been hesitant to repot again so soon. Any suggestions? or is she past saving? :( any advice is appreciated!

I am here for all responses because I’ve also got a babe that is looking a bit down in the dumps. What I’ve learned thus far is they do not like change, hate over watering, hate underwatering, despise cold drafts, don’t like direct sunlight, hate being light deprived, and don’t like having neighbors. I’d love to learn what they DO like!!! I feel for you sister! I’m here with you in the struggle bus

Are you watering more because you put it in a bigger pot?

No, I water once every week to week and a half based on moisture content in the soil

Worse case you could chop and water or soil prop, I’ve heard folks have good luck with that

In my experience, the roots just like to be compact. This happened to me and I put it back in its original pot and it perked up quickly.
