Hi! I’m new to Planta and this group. I just rescued my first monstera and I’m worried about here a little. I’m thinking she may be in shock. I repotted her with new soil. I gave her plant food and watered her. Does anyone have any advice in how to move forward with her. I named her Evangeline.

How much light is it getting? Did you repot it right away or did you let it acclimate to your environment?

Thanks for responding. My daughter rescued it for me and repotted. I brought home. Now this is what it looks like.

The soil looks good. It’s likely just in shock. They like a chunky mix. They like bright indirect light. Mine have done well in North or east facing windows. You could do west if there is a sheer curtain. In nature they are climbers and often under the tree canopy. Let it almost dry all the way out before watering. I also run a humidifier near them.
