Thanks! He’s my curious, ever present plant care assistant.

I love that your cat had to make sure he was the one being appreciated! I turn my plants about 1/4 every few days and it seems to help them stay balanced.

Thai cons are definitely growing on me. I've seen a bunch at my local nursery lately and I have been considering getting one. I've heard they are harder than regular monstera deliciosa. How has your experience been growing yours? It's beautiful and healthy looking. 😍

Thanks! I don’t have a regular monstera, but the two Thai con’s I do have are pretty manageable. They get bright indirect, some direct, sunlight from a south facing window and get 20-50% humidity in my house. I have the large form variety so they don’t grow as fast as the regular monstera and I haven’t needed to add support yet.

      Have you fertilized at all?

I could do better with consistency, but I try to use one of these four every 3rd or so waterings. The ones on the outsides are a little more niche (silica for the variegation and myco for beneficial fungus root health) but otherwise I try to keep it simple.

Thanks for the pic! I'm always super interested in what other people use for fertilizer. It's actually pretty reassuring to see other people use miracle gro too. I've been seeing that TPS brand on Amazon a lot especially with their variety of specialized fertilizers. Have you tried anything else from them?

Also, do you use silica on all your variegated plants?
