Newbie plant lover here. I think I got duped! Bought this plant from Walmart today from Costa Farms and it says it's a Monstera, but when I scanned it in the Planta app it says it's a Philodendron Hope. Can anyone help me identify the correct type of plant? Thanks!
def not a monstera, im pretty sure Hope is correct. theyre also called split leaf philos, or philodendron bipinnatifidum for the scientific name :)

1 j'aimeUnfortunately I see this a lot. Big box stores get their stuff mixed up all the time. If I had to guess, someone switched that plant with another pot to get a better deal on the plant they wanted. I see that at a lot of big box stores. Since they put the price tag on the outer pot, people just switch them.
