Hi I’ve got these 2 monsteras as a gift today, how do I go about giving them care? Also do i repot the non-variegated as it looks very crowded? Is the variegated good to just chill where it is? Thank you

    For most of these types of plants, you’re going to want them to be a bit crowded due to the way that they’re roots grow. I made the mistake with the Pothos this past year that didn’t do well because I broke up the crowded pot. For now, keep them in their original pots until you notice unusual coloring or quick leaf death. Just make sure you keep a track of their humidity and their water levels. They like moisture, but they can be easily drowned by using too much water. And make sure the pots have holes in them for water to drain.

    They’re so pretty! 😍 The green one looks like it’s actually multiple monsteras in one pot! I usually separate mine into smaller pots with 1-2 plants each. That way they don’t have to compete for space/nutrients, and you get a bunch of plants instead of just one lol! Check out Kill this Plant on YouTube, he has tons of super helpful videos about caring for monsteras! Good luck ❤️
