I have been watching videos about caring for monstera plants since acquiring one on Friday. I suspect now that mine is actually two or three in the same pot. Would anyone be willing to look at these pics and let me know what you think? The videos I’ve watched spoke of splitting them up. In ordered a trellis for it, but if it is two do you think I should repot and separate?

I have one that I purchased a large monstera that had 4 individual plants in it. I’ve only split off 1 and now I have two large plants, I don’t have room to break up the rest. Consider that when thinking of splitting. It does appear to have at least 3 in there, they may come apart easily or their roots may be really tangled (the main reason I only removed one) you can still trellis multiple plants just as long as they’re stable. This guy seems small enough that you have a few years before it’ll overwhelm any trellis. But I would repot to see what’s happening, clean it and make a choice then.

I think it was 6! I split them all up into different pots. I can give some away if they do well.

Mine has at least 3 in it. I left them together because it's gorgeous. I used 2 poles and called it a day. I dont have a good pic handy, but here you can see how full the pot is.

I separated mine and I regretted it. I miss the bushy look personally which it doesn't really get till it's very mature.
