When I bought my monstera, I kept it in the same grow pot and soil it came with (17cm pot). It generally needed to be watered every 8 days. A few months ago, I repotted to a 22cm pot with new soil. Now, it seems my monstera doesn’t need watering for at least a month or longer. Even when I watered it last, the soil was slightly damp around an inch deep. Is this normal? There’s a new leaf growing (spot at the top of pic) so it can’t be doing too bad, but I feel like the aerial roots aren’t growing as fast as before 🤔

    The bigger the pot, the more soil so generally you won’t have to water as often

    could also be the colder months hence the plant is less thirsty, assuming you’re in the northern hemisphere
