Jackie Grows

Hello friends, Today I found a beautiful Thai Constellation Monstera at my local nursery. My house is already a jungle, with a massive Monstera monopolizing the big living room window. Most of my plants use grow lights, but this one is up in the bedroom with a south facing window. Planta says this room has too much direct sunlight for this guy. I’ve placed it on the east side of the room about 110cm from the window, and it would get shade in the morning with direct light for a bit in the afternoon. Is this too bright? Does anyone have any experience with these guys burning?

It’s beautiful! I’m so jealous! I’ve been looking for one. 😊 I’d do some googling. The watering & light recommendations on Planta are not always accurate, I find. I always do custom watering schedules so I can adjust it based on observation & research 😊

I have mine literally pressed up in a south facing window 😆 and it loves it. I would say definitely gradually add more light so there's less scorch possible. And also look into Silica, I use Silica gold right now. But it is a game changer for the browning that the white sections can get

Awesome. I have noticed a big difference with it. And use it on all my plants now, not just the ones with white
