I’m going to be showing a photo of three Monstera leaves there in water growing some roots. Let me know if these roots are enough to put into dirt yet. I’m waiting for some more tiny roots to come out of the bigger roots that you see that I circled, please give me some info of when I should be OK to plant these. You will see three leaves in the water, but I’m only gonna be planting two of them. I had to dismantle my leaves because my original plant was dying due to stress and who knows what but these are the leaves that looked good so I put them in water about two weeks ago. Anyway, who can tell me when it would be OK to put these back into dirt because as said I’m not seeing any smaller roots coming out of two huge white roots that you see here circled.

It’ll be ready to be planted in soil when it has developed several healthy roots that are at least 1-2 inches long. The roots should be firm and showing signs of secondary root growth, indicating a strong and established root system. I’d say 2-3 more weeks.

I was wondering the same thing about my monstera propagation I placed in water a few weeks ago. Wasn’t sure if the fresh roots that are like aerial roots were the real thing or not 😂
