Question: What is the purpose/benefit of pruning your monstera? I’ve had mine for just under a year, and have never pruned it. Curious if I should. TIA💚

    Oh my! Just watched a few videos on pruning monsteras. Mine’s definitely getting a chop! Would pruning and repotting at the same time be too much for the plant to take?

      From what I have read and researched, they say in the spring and summer months it should be okay with extra care after. I actually just did mine over two weeks ago. I had to repot and prune because of root rot and a pest infestation. Honestly, I thought I did too much from inexperience. I gave liquid fertilizer, bought grow lights, and did daily light misting, it has definitely helped I think. Here’s the new leaf it’s producing. 😌
