Carefully removed this offshoot from the mother plant after it was putting out roots from the edge of the pot into the ground. Gonna experiment with getting it to climb my Ylang Ylang tree. I planted the longest core root into ground and will let the other air roots find their way. Any suggestions on how I attached it? It’s not too tight and the two ropes are made of hay and dried papyrus stems. Any advice appreciated!

    Put some of the roots in a jar with water & keep it filled, and it’ll help it grow faster

      Oh interesting, like the ones that don’t quite touch the ground?

      yeah any that aren’t in the ground you can lead into a jar of water or leverage one up so an exposed root goes in the water. Monstera’s commonly grow next to body’s of water and grow like crazy when given consistent water
