Hello!! Anyone have any suggestions on types of supports/stakes/poles for my Thai Constellation? Shes starting to lean and I don’t want her to have any issues. Idk if they will grow onto moss poles like some monsteras will so I wanted to ask before I bought one, or if I should just get a different stake type!

I wouldn’t recommend putting it on a moss pole, not because it won’t grow BECAUSE IT WILL. The roots on monsteras are just so massive & grow so fast you would be overworking yourself trying to keep up with it. You can try a coco coir pole to support it.

I agree. Monstera roots are super strong. Thai cons can grow so fast that they can overtake the pole. Then it’s a pain to try to upgrade it to a larger one. Plus, Thais have really tight inter-nodal spacing, so they don’t tend to get long and leggy. A sturdy stake/dowel/plant should do fine if needed when it gets larger

you can also try a trellis until you’re ready to do a moss pole. but it will do well on it as well.

looks like your plant might be facing the wrong direction. monstera have a face (where the leaves point) and a backside (where the aerial roots point) if the leaves aren’t facing the light source they will readjust themselves to get more light. monstera are really sturdy, “beefy” plants and so will do best on a thicker support like a wooden trellis or stake
