Hi guys :) I’m too lazy to get up and take a picture of my monstera as I just had a long day at work but I recently repotted it because it was severely root bound in its nursery pot and now the smaller leafs on the plant are turning yellow. What’s the issue? I don’t want to lose one of the big leaves!

It’s unfortunately pretty normal to lose a few older leaves after a repot. Just keep an eye on it. It will probably recover from the shock and bounce back soon.

      I agree with Katie

Does it matter if it’s the smaller, younger leaves? Are these just not as strong when it comes to transplant shock?

The smaller leaves are usually the oldest. They tend to grow larger with each new leaf. From the last couple of times I have repotted my Thai Constellation, the oldest leaf (smallest) has died off each time. I’ve repotted my deliciosa as well and the oldest leaf also died back.
