I need help! I recently repotted my Monstera "Thia" and her leaves are getting brown near the tips. Its gone from no brown to this size in 3 days, can anyone help me? I watered her before I repotted her, should I have watered her after I repotted her?

    You should water ~2 days before and then again immediately after repotting. Watering before ensures your plant isn't stressed and will better tolerate the transplant. Watering after helps to settle the potting medium and prevent dehydration. Brown leaf tips are a sign she's dehydrated. If you haven't already, water her now. The brown tips won't go away, but watering should stop them from getting worse.

    It really doesn't matter if you cut off the brown tips or leave them. They aren't hurting the plant, but you can trim them off if you think they're unsightly.

      Also, like someone else said, get her a moss pole. Like yours, mine had a lot of aerials before I got her a moss pole, so I used velcro to help them "hug" the pole until they started growing secondary roots. The secondaries really anchored her to the pole and helped her keep growing vertically.

      Thai cons sometimes get labeled as "not beginner friendly" but I don't think they deserve the hate. All they want is lots of sun, a chunky medium, something to climb, and to be able to dry out between waterings. Give her those 4 things and I'm sure she'll be fine!
