Help I have a plan that’s gotten a little bit of damage and I have a couple issues that I’d love some advice about. I keep noticing it. The tips of her leaves are turning black. I’ve already checked for root rot and all that jazz. My bigger concern is this leaf has been damaged and now it’s really really droopy and I don’t know if it’s a health issue or it’s just that the leave is so damaged? Anybody have any advice? Also, I’m worried this plant can’t grow. Is that the case? There’s only one route that was cut and it hasn’t been able to grow back. She’s so pretty though

The generations in your monstera are DIVINE. What a beautiful plant. It can sadly be for a number of reasons. How is humidity in your home? How often do you fertilize? I can’t tell how badly damaged it is, maybe someone else can see that but if it’s not too damaged you could maybe try the splint method? If it’s quite damaged it’s probably best to chop 😞

Update lol I tried to tape the leaves to give it more support but it’s not doing anything so I might have to chop that leaf or maybe I’ll use it and propagate if I have to chop it. Thank you for all of the advice it’s so kind and I really appreciate it! And I’m also obsessed with her so thank you very much for that compliment. She is so dang pretty. I admire her every day. Lol

New leaves will split out of the top most leaf that hasn’t split yet. I’ve zoomed in and circled the area on your plant that looks like a leaf will split from. You can see the top corner peaking out at the top of my circle.

Omg I didn’t even see this! Thanks for pointing that out. You guys are totally right and now I’m so excited. How can I get them to grow a little faster because they haven’t sprouted at all?

Looks like left side has it too. So yes your plant will still grow!

Guys I have since learned much about my Monstera and oh my gosh, she’s so cool and I’m so thrilled that I have some new growth coming in. I was really worried that there was no opportunities at all so now I’m going to figure out how to make them grow if I can! I’m actually surprised by how easy this plant is to care for

Also I see plant Velcro in a few different areas but it doesn’t appear to be arranged to anything so maybe you took the support out for the picture but if not you’ll want to stake your plant with a pole of some sort if you want her to continue to grow up and not vine out. These guys like to be watered when they’re completely dry to the bottom of the pot. Check with a wooden skewer to make sure it’s not moist anymore like you would check a pan of brownies. If still moist, snooze one week and check again.

Wow, this community is so cool! I appreciate all of these responses and yes you are right. I have since learned a lot about my beautiful gal. I didn’t even notice that little leaf on the stem. Thanks for pointing that out! I have also one tiny little node popping up that I’m so excited for but it’ll take a while because it’s literally a tiny little stem. The Velo used to connected, but I removed most of them damage leaves are just so droopy. It might be best to chop and let it regrow. I bought this at the grocery store!! I was in awe when I saw it
