Help plz A while ago, the variegated parts of my thaicon started to brown, and I thought it was because it was root bound (which it kind of was?). I repotted it and thought it would get better, but it kept on browning at the same rate. I water it around once every two weeks. The roots were perfectly fine last time I checked (during repot). Brown areas seem to be slightly transparent and seem like wet or something inside?? Whenever I wake up in the next few mornings after watering, water seems to drip out of these areas a lot (enough that puddles form on the ground). What do I do???

    Yea, so full white parts of a variegated plant will sometimes brown because they lack chlorophyll, so they can’t photosynthesis or produce energy. It does not effect the plant and only the white parts will be effected. Your plant can also be stressed which may cause browning on the white parts too.

      Very well- draining stuff with tons of perlite and lava rocks

    She’s overwatered. She’s trying to release the extra water through her leaves. Mine is very sensitive to overwatering and I would recommend letting her dry out more.

    Less watering and when you do water add silica, helps variegated plants from browning

    I agree it’s overwatering I can tell from the brown color , Thai cons are very sensitive to overwatering how often do you water?
