Help! I bought this baby 1-2 weeks ago and it had slight browning that has just got worse. What is wrong and what should I do to save it?

    Do NOT water, mess with or move for 6 days at least! Place 2’ away from a south/east, south/west window or under a grow light and let the soil dry out (You CAN mist the surface soil from day 7-14, when it needs it)… Mine gave me the same trouble a month or so ago after its journey home and its first watering!       Thank you!! I did water when it got home as the soil was dry as anything however understand it may have needed to get used to its surroundings. It’s in south/west lighting but not direct so doesn’t get too much light. Will I need to remove the brown leaves or leave them until fully brown as i understand part brown/green leaves still photosynthesise?

    Ive also had troubles with the soil they come in being too dense, I like to break mine up so when I mist inbetween waterings it stays a little longer but I’m not sure if that would help with the browning besides letting you go longer between waterings
