All old leaves of my monstera is crispy but it still have new leaf, what could be the reason and what should I do?

    could be pests or fungus, honestly. douse it in neem oil and put diatomaceous earth all over it too. should kill anything bothering your plant.

    How much do you let it dry out in between waterings? It could be pests but it could also be a watering issue. Iā€™m less inclined to think pests since the new leaf is in such good shape, but itā€™s still worth checking for any other signs of pests. Signs of pests would include honeydew spots (small shiny spots on leaves), fine webbing on the leaves (check the undersides too), black or brown specks (not always pests but can be a sign) especially underneath the leaves, spots that have lost all their color on the leaf (not just turned brown or yellow but actually lost the chlorophyll), white fuzzy spots, and of course small insects on the leaves. You can also tap a leaf onto a white piece of paper and use a magnifying glass to see if you can spot any critters that way. If it is pests, neem oil will help prevent future outbreaks but will not treat a current outbreak. Usually insecticidal soap does the trick, but youā€™d want to look up how to treat the plant based on what pests you find (thrips, spider mites, mealy bugs, scale, ect).

      Its been 2 weeks since I repotted it and feed it with water and thinking about watering it today. Also can you please suggest me if I should water it with this fertilizer and how? Please and thank you

      Iā€™d make sure that itā€™s 75% dry before watering again or adding liquid fertilizer. You can check that the soil is dry by sticking a wooden skewer or chopstick into the soil 75% of the way. If it comes out clean and dry, itā€™s ready for water. If it comes out with any dampness or soil sticking to it, wait a couple days and check again. I donā€™t know anything about that fertilizer but Iā€™d be worried that it wouldnā€™t provide enough nutrients with an NPK ratio of 0-0-2. It wonā€™t hurt anything to use for now, but in the long run you would probably struggle with some nutrient deficiency. Iā€™d suggest an all-purpose fertilizer with an NPK ratio of 10-10-10. Just make sure you dilute it properly according to the instructions and then water with it like usual.

    Are we suppose to trim or cut dead leaves on these plants? My plant also has a couple ā€œdeadā€ leaves too

      Not an expert here, but once I got a suggestion that if leaves are crispy just at the ends then trim it as it is still doing photosynthesis but if it fully crispy then trim it. If you have any suggestions about it please let me know.

      if there's still green, just trim the dead bits, removing healthy tissue slows overall plant growth.
