My poor Monstera just stays in this permanently wilted phase. Leaves are curling underneath themselves. It is by big windows but in my location in Oregon we get very little direct light during this time of the year - just diffused light. I have a humidifier going at 52% and I still can’t figure out what’s wrong. Any advice? What do you guys do light wise; humidity wise, watering wise?

How big is the pot? It may be that the pot is too big for the size of the plant.

🤔that’s awfully big for the size of the pot. I have one in a 10in pot but the plant is far bigger. I also have one in a 6in pot. Here is a pic of the one in the 10in pot

That’s just what the sticker says on the pot. I could be wrong about the size of the pot.

Okay. Well I hope you figure out the issue and I hope she bounces back :)

It looks like it could be caused by too little of light, I would recommend getting a grow light, and make sure to water whenever the soil gets dry. I would also check the roots to make sure everything looks good.

I should have put it in there - starting 2 weeks ago I put it under a grow light. It just hasn’t had any change so far.

How often do you water it?

I water it when the top 2-3 inches feel dry. I could try separating the different plants into their own small pots?

I would check the roots, for bugs, root rot, or anything abnormal.

      Okay, thank you!

If it’s not getting light you should cut back on the waterings. Or you could cause root rot. Have you checked the roots? They are very susceptible to root rot

Could it be too close to your fireplace? Maybe catching a draft or drying out too much?
