Just noticed these in my Monstera. Are they roots? There’s 1 big one and 2 small ones. Is this normal??

    It’s an aerial root! It’s very normal and usually I just let them be, or if possible, train them back into the soil. You can also cut them off if they become a problem - growing into areas that you don’t want them to (my large monstera was growing one that went basically to the floor and had to go).

    Yes it is,the plant naturally grows on trees and those are to support it.

    Mine has a giant aerial root too. In the wild they help the plant hook onto trees and climb
