Probably personal preference but I prefer perlite. I’ve had a near 100% success rate rooting in it and you don’t run the risk of mold.

They do really well in moss. Just lightly wrapped around the stems, and put in a cup/pot with circulation holes. This is Obliqua with some adansonii and lainiata

First off beautiful plants! Second, would you say ventilation/airflow is more important then when working with moss? I tired my albo monstera cuttings in moss a few times and each time it grew mold

The first time I came across the litle 3oz cups with spahgum moss the lady put them in deep tubs, no lid. So they'd get some airflow. In this indoor greenhouse I have a fan, but I run it intermittently. And haven't had any mold issues. I've actually had some white mold issues on my carnivorous plants moss and they are in an open room. I've never had it be an issue with them, I have had issues with the same mold growth on pon though, that I have definitely seen rot a plant, because it like coats it, keeping it too moist
