Mikel’s Plant Posse

I was in Mexico for 4 days, and expected Herman’s new leaf to be open by the time I got home! It looks like this now! What did I do wrong? The oldest (smallest) leaf is very yellow down there too…help please!

    Overwatering damage maybe or the leaf got stuck trying to open the yellow leaf on the bottom might just be normal growth they shed younger leaves around the same time new leaves open

      Are you following plantas schedule 3 days after you water is not ideal for this type of monstera I’ve gotten these spots before because of overwatering

      He came in a wick self watering pot and whatever soil Costa Farms gave him. I plan to upgrade him soon…so, the water was only about half gone from what I left in the reservoir before leaving to Mexico for 4 days…so could very well have been overwatering. And suggestions?

      It seems the set up in the pot and soil isn’t working, I would repot it (you can still do a self watering just a different type of pot ) I would repot in a chunky soil mix as that soil that he is in right now looks like it doesn’t have any drainage , also another factor could be its sitting in the water it’s draining
