Quick question. One of my monstera leaves has a slight tear that it came with when I bought it from the store. Is there any way to fix this myself or will the plant do it on its own?

Those edges are gonna brown up and essentially scab over. It’ll be okay

Thank you! I was really thinking about taping it together and hoping it would heal that way 😅 didn’t think that would work

I was almost wondering if one could superglue a torn leaf? I know superglue can be used in aquariums and all, so not too dangerous to fish, but I don’t know if its chemicals would be “soaked up” by a plant.

I decided to test it on my new mini monstera I got yesterday that had a split leaf. Hopefully I will know in a day or two if the chemicals in the glue hurt it any.

PS: I did some searching earlier and mostly found solutions for split stems, not split leaves, but I saw some people used hot glue or wood glue on their plants with success (I would assume that would be low temp hot glue)
