Anyone has some ideas? I’ve had this Thai Con For about 3 months. I water weekly, it’s about 3 feet away from a large window, I haven’t fertilized as yet. It was initially fine then one leaf started turning brown from the tips. I snipped it but the browning continued. Now two other leaves are affected despite a new leaf coming out? I admit it’s been a bit colder in my home about 69 on average. And I recently added a humidifier. Any tips or advice? Please?

    Does it need a new pot? Have you changed the soil since you got it? Does it have root rot? I water mine when top soil 1-2 inches down is damp/dry. Which is about a knuckle. All of my monsteras are in indoor potting mix with orchid bark and extra pertile.

    Too much water, I don’t grow mine in soil for this reason. Since Thais were genetically created in a lab they are unstable.

    I switched mine to Leca Semi Hydro routine. Thai constellations are really prone to root rot sounds like the issue.

    Most plants don’t need to be watered weekly. A lot of people don’t realize that it’s ok to let monsteras completely dry out. Since Thai cons are very prone to root rot, I always let it dry out completely and check before watering.

    Thanks for the responses everyone! I checked the roots and it doesn’t seem as though there is root rot. Maybe I just need to focus on reducing the watering and maintaining humidity. But it also seems as though it needs to be repotted.

      Roots look great, I’d definitely switch to semi hydro with orca and you’ll notice a good boost in growth, if you use a clear pot and water to fill 1/4 of the pot full then just consistently top up to that point and fertilize with a liquid fertilizer once a month
