Hello I am new to taking care of a monsters but not new to plants in general. We got this as a baby like 3-4 weeks ago and it’s thriving. This light green big leave is completly new. My questions is now if it’s too early to set up a moss pole? Does that only makes sense once the aerial roots start?
I personally would wait for the aerial roots only because once those have grown out enough to direct them into the moss pole they’ll just growing within .. Apose to letting it grow extremely wide and big and the aerial all over the place now you gotta cut .. you know what I mean? That’s just my opinion

you can start them whenever you want! the earlier you give it support, the quicker it starts to get big!! having the support there will automatically trigger the plant to grow aerial roots so there's no point in waiting, there's no age requirement they need to reach lol

Exactly! I guess my “age” requirement would be if there’s a stem long enough to actually Velcro to the poll because we aren’t supposed to tie the petioles! :)
