hey all! my monstera has taken a turn for the worse and one side is dying off. the side with the leaf in the picture is still alive. this is the only leaf that didn’t turn yellow and die off. i’ve never propagated a monstera but would like to save a leaf from my original monstera so i still have her technically. the stem itself has one tiny little air node on it and then the notches under have a bigger one. i don’t know where to cut at or how to propagate it and take care of my propagation i need all the tips and tricks i can get because id love to save this one leaf that lived! i do have rooting powder if that helps

you can cut in between nodes, or in between the white lines on the stem! let it callous over, and you can grow the roots out in water! (attached picture is of the potential places you could cut) the plant just looks very dehydrated, so you could probably take a look at the roots and see if you have any that are still alive and healthy. if you do, you can chop off any dried out or dead roots, and repot into a pot that is 1-2 inches bigger than the root ball. give it a nice, chunky well draining soil mix, and water when the soil is half to fully dry!
