Should I start over? I found this Monstera half dead crawling out of the planter in full sun - in FL! It’s now been over 1 year and she’s thriving- even producing fruit!! She has giant leaves and is healthy but so misshaped and impossible to steak and she’s due for a repot… thanks!
Mine is doing something similar. Someone told me to cut at the curve and propagate it. I’m so nervous that she’ll be like water on the wicked witch
I think she’ll be fine since she’s got good air roots to get started. You could cut her in two places really, at least one will work root and if both do you’ll have a little monstera family.

1 likeI’ve never seen one with fruit, so cool!! This lady is pretty special, like a contortionist lol. Since she sounds healthy, I’d give it a shot. Here’s where I’d cut, so you’ll have 3 pieces. I sense the base root section will come back no issue, the long section that shoots to the right as well with those air roots. Middle maybe maybe not but worth a shot.
Hold up, does she have a friend to the left of the pic or is do those leaves somehow belong to her too????
0 likes Haha, yes I have 2 of them and both are twisted into S shape! Only one has fruit. And thank you!! I might wait until fruit matures to cut

I would really only tweak the lowest cut in this one, I made some markings on this picture. I think that thick middle stem is the actual stem that produces shoots. You could even cut less off and just attempt to propagate a smaller amount so you don’t have to worry about killing it! Monsteras are ridiculously easy to prop in water though. Good luck!
