Hi! I have a monstera plant on my windowsill that’s been doing great for about 9 months to a year now since it only had baby leaves; it now has a few fenestrations!! But my only concern is that the leaves seem to be flat to the stems? Like they bend completely down and not up.. is this a problem? Does anyone know how to get them to open up more instead of being so flat? Pictures to show:) Tia P.s. I’m aware she needs repotting, I’m gunna get round to it very soon!

Leaves typically move towards the light source, so if you want the leaves to move up, you’d need a grow light above the plant. Otherwise they will all eventually turn to face the window

Ahh okay! I already have some plant lights but never used them for my monstera as it’s always been thriving on the window; I’ll move it onto my bedside table with the grow lights instead, thankyou :)
