ADVICE PLEASE: I’ve had this Monstera for about 2 years and she has grown out great but she is looking a little wild. What is the best way to make her look better? Should I divide it up? The moss poles don’t really do anything for it😭
Oh! I’ve just posted a solution to this same problem I had! I got rid of the pole and planted a wide square trellis in with the monstera. I used some Velcro to secure the main stems fanned out onto the trellis. Now it looks cohesive! A fan trellis would also work well.

Personally I always support separating monsteras, they grow too aggressively in the pot to allow for all the plants to share the space long term. It also appears your plant is looking everywhere in the room for a bright enough light to keep it from getting so leggy and spread around, you should try getting it in a brighter window or under a very strong grow light that casts downwards onto the plant

Focus on tying only the main stem to the moss pole with the aerial roots pointed towards the back. If there’s multiple plants go ahead and separate. Dont go up too much in pot size. You only need 1-2” bigger than the root ball
0件のいいね I sometimes use wire to tie my poles to the pots or use a cedar plank from home depot for bigger ruley plants
