I know monsteras can only withstand 60 degrees Fahrenheit during the winter (and that’s already pushing it) but in Las Vegas, our winters get well below 40 degrees on some days. I’ve been keeping my monsteras by the window all summer, I’m afraid they’ll get really sad if they sit that close to the window sill during the winter when the cold penetrates through. Is it better to move it to a warmer area of my apartment and just use grow lights?

Here in Canada, I keep my plants under a greenhouse inside during the winter months - I find this helps a lot. I also use a heating mat

I haven’t had problems with winter window plants here in New Hampshire. As long as the plant isn’t touching the glass, or the window isn’t extremely old and drafty, you should be good to go ☺️ I didn’t think Las Vegas got that cold 😂 But then again, I have heard that the dessert can’t keep in heat at night. So that would make sense for it to be cold when the days are shorter and the sun is at a lower angle
