I got a cutting of a mini monstera it feels like forever ago, but maybe 2 months ago and it FINALLY gave me a new leaf lol. Like the plant hadn’t changed one bit since I brought it home. And then bam new leaf. And the monsters in the back is working on its 2nd new leaf. I also have a Swiss cheese, but I keep him in a different shelf, he’s really been taking off since I brought him home Yes. I know the monstera has brown on the leaves. The 3 leaves that have brown were there when I bought it. They haven’t gotten worse, or died. So it’s fine lol

And I want to repot them so bad cause I’m not liking the soil mix they came in. But I’m scared cause they’re still so tiny

as long as you’re gentle i’d repot it. i repot my plants if i dont like their soil or the pot and theyre usually fine

This is what I do too. But I leave the soil around the roots alone.

yeah honestly i got a fully established large mini monstera cutting and it’s never been a crazy grower. i think it’s finally pushing out its second large since i got it in september, so i wouldn’t worry at all. i have it on a moss pole with a plant light and a great soil blend, so i think they’re just slow growers tbh

I’d repot it but keep the same of size pot. I think the old soil is lacking nutrients and air. But I would not recommend going a size up. Now remember the plant will go into shock which is okay but within a month it should bounce back and thrive. Since it is fall and winter is coming new leaf growth might take longer but I am certain in spring the plant will take off. Therefore right now it might be better if it’s repotted for it to focus on strengthening the roots and not the leafs.

Oh yeah, I’ve potted most of my plants. I just was a little iffy about that one because it’s still a baby lol
