Sounds like you are watering too much and the soil is staying very moist, allowing mold to accumulate. How often are you watering and what kind of soil are you using?

watering about 5-6 days (what planta tells me) and regular indoor potting soil :)

That is pretty often for regular potting soil that will retain a lot of moisture. Make sure you check the soil before watering again, if the top couple of inches are moist you shouldn’t water again. You can use the snooze button on the app to delay watering until the soil is drier. Hope this helps!

Usually, mold in the soil is not the problem. Definitely cut your watering. Water less frequently, but when you water - give it a ton of water. Also probably your soil is too dense. Do you remember what substrate did you use when you repotted?

I searched online and was recommended that this soil is good for Monstera plants. It has been doing well so far, and I haven’t noticed any mold growth.

Over-watering, poor drainage, poor air circulation?

Once you figure out when to water it, you can adjust Planta schedule to your own. I don't follow planta because it depends on the location as well. I keep adjusting it to when my plants shows me signs of thirst. When I was starting and based it on planta, my plant root-rotted 😬

I had the same situation and replanted mine in orchid mix and she’s been happy since.
