Ive had my yhai con under this grow light for quite some time now, but noticing this black spot growing on one of the leaves. Is it too close & getting burnt?

    That looks more like the start to root issues, most likely the soil is retaining too much water, it could be being overwatered or it could just need a bigger pot!

      Oh really?? I was holding off repotting until spring - guess its time to upsize!

    How does the stalk of the plant & the aerial roots look/feel? They should be firm and nottt squishy!

      I'll have to check when i get home, assess the roots as well. I've only been watering inline with this app, with well draining soil, however im sure its well overdue a repot

    just a bit 😂 ive upsized the pot by 2cm, guess its just a case of monitoring now as the roots seemed fine?

      Yeah I’d just keep an eye so it doesn’t spread but the repot should solve that problem for you!👍🏼
