Help Help Help My monstera is dying! Monte is dying! We have had a lot of days in a row with rain or cloudy. But…. It was time to repot, clean, change dirt; give Monte the full spa treatment for plants. I don’t think he liked it. Because after that day, he started going down hill. I began to notice the curling on the tips of his leaves. I asked Dr. Planta and he said lacking water, got on a different watering schedule. Then….no sunlight (hardly), and the water seemed to drain so fast out the bottom. That’s when the leaves started turning brown at the tips. Is Monte dying?? What do I do to save him? He’s still growing!!

monte is just adjusting to his new home! make sure you fix the lighting situation. monstera will often focus on establishing more roots before they continue to push out new leaves. as for brown tips, using a humidifier or light misting can help. it's common for bigger plants to shock a little bit when they are repotted, but he will spring back in a month or two. they can be fussy when you touch their roots too much.
