Was it always like that? Or did it change into it recently? Because if it was always like that maybe it was just deformed - one of my leaves grew smushed into my bendy pole and I lowkey gave it permanent scoliosis š
1 gillanow that you say that i went back on the pictures of when i first got it and it definitely has been like that š« i was worried it still wasnāt getting enough light but the other leaves seemed fine, should i just cut this off? its a pretty big part of the support system but iām sure i can find another spot for the stick if i need to
0 gillningarTo be honest, Iām not really that knowledgeable on the whole cutting off/propagating side to plants. Maybe Iām too much of a hoarder to even consider cutting off any lol. I have a few ugly ducklings on mine, but I just say it gives him character tbh. But if it matters to you, Iād definitely look into cutting/propagating.
1 gillaI just cut my leaves that were kinda messed up! Now the newest leaves are thriving :)
1 gillaI would fold the edges down and wrap a Walmart sack over it, tying it closed to hold the leaf in the shape you want. If you have those clear bags for produce, you can leave on there after poking holes in it. Better than sacrificing a beautiful leaf. When you donāt HAVE to. Please let us know what happens!
2 gillningarI did this to mine once! I let it get a little thirsty and floppy, reshaped the leaf with chopsticks and a bag, and then watered it š I never got to see how it turned out, though-- the kittens were super intrigued by the setup and shredded it overnight š«
