Someone help me figure out to do with this guy! Got him about a year ago, repotted once a few months after I got him. Over the last few months I’ve learned I need to stake it but I have no idea where to start since the leaves are growing every direction. Now the bottom leaves are starting to die and I don’t exactly know why. Thanks in advance!

Looks like you have 4 plants in one pot. You can repot and separate them, or just stake them individually. It might be due for a repot either way if you are having leaf die off at the base. I recommend pulling it out and checking the roots. Once you decide if your going to repot all together or individually, only go up 2 inches in pot size or root ball size. Now not everyone stakes their monstera, but if you decide you would like to then you want to stake it at the back of the stem. The best way to determine this is follow the petioles (part that connects to the leaf) all the way down until you reach were it is connected to the stem. Once you locate the stem, look to see which direction the petioles are growing towards and you will be able to decern a front (where all the petioles are growing towards) and a back (the opposite where petioles are growing away from). You will want to put the stake at the back of the stem and use something like plant/garden velcro to secure the stake to the stem. You don't want to secure the petioles because it prevents them from moving to follow light direction. You only want to secure the stems to the stake. Finally, make sure you are providing appropriate lighting either directly in front of a window or via grow light that is roughly 18 in away. Any further is insufficient. Hope this helps! Come back and let us know what you did.

Could be more! Each stem you located is a full plant. Also, when you repot don't forget to use a chunky mix soil.
