My monstera is growing sideways out of its pot. š Is it possible to correct this so itās growing up instead of out? Also wondering if I should replant into a bigger pot and move the pot to be more centered in the window.

Iād add a support: stake, trellis, moss pole, etc. And you could try repotting it (same or different pot) and repositioning it so that the spine is up against the support. Add a few ties to keep the spine close to the support. I wouldnāt up the pot size yet ā Iāve heard these like to outgrow their pots before graduating.

0 Me gustaIāve done the same as Erin itās worked really well for me. Plant looks so much better and the Ariel roots are starting to grow into the pole!
2 Me gustaThank you! Doing some research, and it appears I can trim the air roots to 2-3ā. Any tips for doing that and getting them to integrate into the pole?
0 Me gustaYeah you can do if you wish I tried my best to work them into it without cutting them but a few did get abit damaged but look to be doing fine and roots will forms naturally from another root if you just attach it to the role and keep it moist. Eg this one I just placed along the pole it has now gone into two and both growing in the pole!

2 Me gustaI saved a one leaf Monstera plant and now it has 20 leaves on it and itās growing sideways with air roots hanging out. I know to cut them into more plants very easily and repot them. You probably can see some roots hanging out where you could cut and repot it and make more plants, and I would stick a stick and brace to help it grow upright because these plants tend to get very heavy and search for light and droop easily due to their grouping large leaves and need for roots to attach to dirt
