Claire plants

Just moved my monstera (which was doing fabulously) to a new home in the middle of winter, and now all the leaves are turning brown and crispy and dying :( is this shock? How do you treat?

Shock and cold damage. Get it in warmth and bright light…back to ideal conditions

That’s what I thought. Should I cut off the dead/dying leaves then?

I would. But that’s my personal preference. You could leave them on until the plant doesn’t want them anymore

Some crisping happened with mine for a basic repotting but it was very small, like a coin size. Do get your plant to a warmer spot. (Don’t be surprised if it takes a while for new growth, looks like there was a quite a shock.)

Do you think if I move it again though it will get shocked again?

Get a grow light and make sure it’s not too close to a heater but not a cold room either.

If it is provided right temp, light and water/humidity, it can only benefit.
