Need some serious thai con help! I got her about 2 months ago and she had 4 leaves. I overwatered and had to remove her 3 yellow leaves. When I got it, she came with fungus gnats. I’ve tried a bunch of things (neem oil, traps, and hydrogen peroxide cleanse), but I can’t get rid of them. She hasn’t showed any signs of growth, but I know she’s got some healthy roots. How do I get this baby to grow and should I repot/refresh her soil to get rid of the gnats? Help!

Also thinking about transferring to leca. Anyone have experience with this? Did it help push out leaves? I’m tired of her looking bald headed

Mine is in lechuza-pon and it's been doing really well. I already had to repot a 2nd time after only a few months. This will also eliminate the gnat issue. If you don't want to keep in soil and use a systemic pesticide.

Thank you! I think I’m going to switch over. Is your mix solely rocks or did you go with something more similar to a bonsai mix? Also how often do you water with this new mix and is there anything I should know before I switch it over?

Lechuza-pon is a brand of pon with fertilizer in.... they do make several kinds. This is from their site . The main thing is make sure you remove all of the soil and dirt. I use my kitchen sink sprayer on low.

I water mine on the same schedule. I don't use a reservoir type pot like a lot of people do.
