Hiya everyone I just have a wee question about my monkey mask , it has been doing so well and has grew so much I have never had a problem with it but today I have went into the plant room and it was flopped over I picked it up and it just fell apart the bottom of the stem seems to have rotted but the rest of the plant plus roots are perfectly fine. I am not sure what has happened as I haven’t changed its routine and have had it for a good few months now. Is there any way to revive it ,what have I done wrong ?

Hand to tell from the angle on the first picture and your hand is blocking the base in the second. See if you still have a node after you trim of anything that looks rotted, throw her in a glass of water and propagate!

Sorry I haven’t got the best angles , I thought the stem looked good very green and no signs of anything just the very bottom their was abit brown. I am new to the plant world I am not sure how to propagate I will look into it thank you :)

If you have a node this spot where a leaf used to attach, if you submerge that part in water if will root. Pic of mine for reference. If I cut in that spot between my fingers, then probably removed that first leaf on the left, it would root. Hope That helps!
