Raise humidity to 50-70% especially during the cold months! Heat will dry out the air quicker so be ready to fill up occasionally (it depends on the room square footage for the right humidifier)
0 Mi piaceHow can I increase humidity ? Should I put it by a humidifier ? And how often do I need to leave it running ? Or can I just put it in a different location ?
2 Mi piaceIf you have a mister bottle that you can put just water in, Planta can remind you when to do it. There are also some other options for increasing humidity like keeping a bowl with stones and water nearby but that usually just ends up with me knocking over a bowl of water and rocks 🤷🏻♀️
1 mi piaceIf you regularly keep it on the windowsill or right at the window it might be getting too cold too.
1 mi piaceI offer this because I have an aloe plant that need to be moved away from the windowsill starting in November :)
0 Mi piaceI keep it by the window because it’s hard to find the sun anywhere else but I’m thinking about maybe getting a lamp for it so I can change locations. It’s definitely too cold by the window.
0 Mi piaceThis is what I ended up doing with my little aloe buddy. Shes doing much better now :)
1 mi piaceI keep mine by the window if it stays about 30+ degrees. Just took my out of the window last night due to it going single digits. I’ll replace later today!
