Halp! My monstera is not doing well at all. There are 3-4 new leaves coming but they are all yellow, really weak/thin, and have brown spots. I was thinking not enough light, so I’ve moved her to a sunnier spot. Also treated with a copper fungicide the other day because that was a problem a few months ago. Any idea why the new growth would look so…unwell? Any advice is appreciated!
I’ve been having a slightly similar issue with my calathea. From what I’ve discerned so far it’s mostly watering inconsistently. I let it dry a little too much then watered it a little too much then eventually found the happy middle (I hope). If it wasn’t for my monsteras never having that same issue I’d think it would probably be the same reason but the pale color of the leaf doesn’t seem to be the same issue. I’d say try and handle 2 possible issues at the same time, if you aren’t watering it on a decently regular basis as needed, then start there, and on top of that you can do a 1/2 strength mix of fertilizer for every watering for the rest of growing season.
