Monstera Adansonii? Esqueleto?? Obliqua??? My girl Priscilla here was sold to me as an adansonii but she’s not really growing like others I’ve had in the past. She’s much far fenestrated and longer and her stems seem like they may be stronger cause she it’s like refuses to vine down. She is so perky and seems to only be interested in climbing. This app wants to identify her as an obliqua but I’m not convinced so I’m curious what others might think!

0 J'aime It does look to me like an obliqua and if it is, I’m jealous. Mine is long and spindly. Your plants leaves look more like obliqua to me. Here’s my sad one of those (and if anyone has advice, I’ll gladly hear it.
I think you might be right cause she’s veryyy fenestrated. I was gonna have her vine but obliquas climb better than they vine, right?

1 j'aime I don’t know. I’m not crazy about how it shot straight up the board. Ive thought many times about taking her off it. I like the look of yours so much better.

0 J'aimeI’ve had her about a month or so and she’s been throwing new leaves like crazy! I think I might see how she does vining before I commit to staking and climbing. It’s the first plant I bought off Amazon on a whim and pretty glad I did I love so much. I can send you the link if you’d like!
