I water propagated this from a single node cutting from Audrey II who has now completely taken over my front yard with leaves almost as big as me. This is leaf new number 5 in 3 months and I definitely think he's ready to go into a pot. 😂😂

1 LikeWow!!! Please tell me how do u propagate??? It never works for me. Everything dies
1 LikeI just make sure that the cutting has at least one node and I put a few pothos cuttings in with whatever I'm trying to propogate. The pothos puts off a rooting hormone that helps other plants grow roots faster. I also DON'T let the cutting sit out to calous. That has never worked for me. I prop as soon as I chop. The water is treated the same way as the water I use for my plants (I use an an aquarium water conditioner to remove chloramine and other chemicals.) Then I set it somewhere in bright sunlight and I don't change the water. If I get an algae bloom that's heavy enough to damage the plant I pour the water into another container, carefully rinse off the roots and clean the jar and then put the same water back in.
1 LikeThank you so much for the detailed explanation. I needed it.. unfortunately I do not have an aquarium set up like you. I am using boiled tap water. I’m in NJ. Is that okay?

Be sure you don't let it get too crazy and the roots won't come out of the smaller opening 😅
