Does anyone know what could cause brown tips??! It’s not just my monstera, it’s a few different plants… all plants have a grow light, humidifier on 24:7, and get fertilizer and water when Planta tells me to…. Not sure what could be the cause if it’s MULTIPLE different plants (but not all?) I’m stressing and don’t wanna lose anyone! ANY HELP WOULD BE APPRECIATED

I'd say overwatering or underwatering lol but sadly I'm no expert so I am of no further help. best of luck!

If it's across many plants it could be your tap water is extra spicy for your green friends (usually chlorine and other additives). You can try resting your water overnight with the hopes that the chlorine evaporates, or try a water conditioner (what people use to condition aquarium water for fish to make it less harsh). It may help.

I had a feeling it was the water! But I use a purifier that connects to the sink, but it has extra minerals for “cleaner” water… so I don’t really trust it lol

I have spider plants and a peace lily that are a bit more sensitive to the hard water in my home. Every since I've started using the water conditioner all the new growth have not shown any signs of browning tips (other than my neglect to water lol)

I was gonna try to collect rain water instead, but of course it hasn’t rained (but keeps snowing) so I’ll deff start leaving the water overnight!! Thank you!

You can just use an aquarium water conditioner too. Like API (not one that has a bunch of additives)
