I read in another post somewhere that monsteras often have multiple plants in one pot when you purchase them to make them look fuller. Is that what I have in my pot? And if so should they be separated ? Would that help them grow bigger? O bought this in June so 6 months ago. I’ve repotted it once about two months ago and it seems very healthy and happy but only one partly perforated leaf and it doesn’t seem to be climbing or even trying to. The one perforated leaf came out three months ago and none since. I bought a moss pole but wasn’t sure it really needed it yet. What do you all think? Time to separate the plants?

    Looks like several plants but I’m not sure about the separating them. Also sometimes if they are still pretty young the leaves won’t be perforated much and as it matures it might get better

    You don’t need to separate them at all, I take cuttings and shove them back into the original pot to make mine look fuller all the time! It shouldn’t impact the growth at all as long as they have enough space in the pot. As for the pole I have no personal experience with them, but I think yours is a little small to need one. I don’t think it would hurt to add it now though either.
