The yellowing could be stress from the separation and potting. My new growth after a repot has had brown spots from damage not fungus. If it put the effort into a new leaf, give your plant the benefit of the doubt and see how the new leaf turns out. If you find it is ugly and not fungus then give your plant a while to rest and replenish. Once the leaf hardens and the plant is definitively settled into life on its own, I would then chop the unsightly leaf. A new one will pop up in its place soon enough
